Hot air balloon flights around Odorheiu Secuiesc/Székelyudvarhely. The total duration of the free flight is 3-4 hours, but the flight takes approx. 1 hour. Many people think that hot air ballooning is an adrenaline rush activity, but it is not. In fact, hot air ballooning is a pleasure flight, and is an endlessly calm, breathtaking sport. The gardon is a musical instrument carved from wood. It resembles a cello, but its body is sculpted from a single piece of wood. At the workshop in Boros Valley, visitors can delve into the secrets of creating this instrument and follow the entire process as the wood comes to life step by step, transforming into a true wonder. Carving the gardon is a fascinating process from start to finish. As the excess material is removed and the final shape of the instrument takes form, each step represents a rebirth of the wood. During the workshop visit, visitors can see how a Gyimes gardon is made or what tools are used in the workshop.

I'm Mircse Ildikó, a master weaver living in Szeklerland, who is happy to show you the weaving process from thread to the finished product. On request, children's activities can be organised in the workshop, during which children weave small items.

After the sweets, our journey leads to the neighboring village of Sânsimion/Csíkszentsimon. The village is very clean and rich in deep wells with good water, so the Csíki Beer Manufactory may have opened one of the prides of the area a few years ago. We visit the buildings of the manufactory, taste beers, gain insight into the technology of brewing and taste the ingredients. We will also have our lunch there, trotters baked in bread, accompanied by Csíki Beer. After lunch, we head halfway to Miercurea Ciuc/Csíkszereda and visit Șumuleu Ciuc/Csíksomlyó, the largest pilgrimage site in Central and Eastern Europe. In the church, we can say our prayers to Our Lady and we can also get an insight into the history of the pilgrimage. Then we continue our journey and in the last part of the day we visit a traditional bath, where we can refresh our feet in the small mineral water pools or mofettas. The O-Saros spa was rebuilt exactly after the old architecture of the XIX century - when it had mud. The construction has a special beauty: it's made of wood and has glass ceiling.  It feeds directly from the nearest source, the cold water of the cold basin has 17 ° C, the hot basin 28-34 ⁰C. A 10-day cure is recommended. The Treasure Cottage is designed to transport visitors back in time, and introduce them to the little treasures of rural life. Located in Mugeni/Bögöz (9.6 km from Odorheiu Secuiesc/Székelyudvarhely), the nearly 150-year-old house has served as a priest's lodge, a home for a wealthy family of farmers, a maternity hospital and a day care centre. A dairy and butter factory also operated here. The house still retains its traditional appearance and some of its original furnishings, so visitors entering through the gate will discover the treasures of a 19th century bourgeois property in a rural setting. Visitors has the opportunity to receive a presentation of various crafts, including butter making, bread baking, weaving, embroidery, straw working and herbal medicine. The salt house and apitherapy house in the courtyard are a place for relaxation and healing. Băile Homorod (Homoródfürdő) has always been an important touristic destination. Our family business intends to bring back this recreation culture, assuring the nowadays required developments. The family enterprise was established in 2000 and the range of services provided has been extended during the years. Our purpose is to create a modern leisure centre, where we can assure good time not only for nature-lovers, but also for summer and winter sport fans as well. Our restaurant has a total capacity of 80 places, the covered terraces are spacious enough for 70 people. We offer dishes from the Romanian, Hungarian and traditional Szekler cuisine, updating our offer at the beginning of each season. We recommend you to taste our homemade bread, sheep chees polenta, as well as the homemade fruit brandy, distilled from fruits gathered at the foothill of the mountain.
