Our journey with chocolate began in 2013, and in 2016 the Berri Artisan Chocolate workshop was opened. Initially, we made chocolate bars sprinkled with freeze-dried fruits. Over time, our range expanded to include chocolate with herbs, pralines and chocolate figures, allowing us to offer new and unique creations. Using premium-quality ingredients, we craft handmade chocolates and pralines for chocolate lovers. Alongside high-quality ingredients, achieving an exceptional result also requires a healthy dose of dedication, passion and expertise. Chocolate Tasting During a chocolate tasting, we will introduce you to the history of chocolate and the process of making it. We will then taste 6 different types of chocolate, starting with the lowest cocoa content and progressing to the highest, following the proper tasting steps to fully enjoy every piece. Maximum number of participants: 15 people Price: 50 RON/person The workshop visit is conducted in Hungarian. 

The "Kenyérműhely" artisan bakery and café is located in Gheorgheni/Gyergyószentmiklós. Their products – breads, sourdough baguettes, and pastries – are made using traditional, ancient methods with live sourdough starter, rye flour, and spelt flour. Our goal is to offer our customers healthy, highly nutritious, yet easily digestible staple foods that nourish both body and soul. We believe that high-quality bread should be accessible to everyone. Join us to discover the rarest craft of the world, the amazing Amadou processing. Amadou is the interior, fine texture trama hand stretched layer of the beech fungus called Fomes Fomentarius. This ancient tradition of manufacturing the amadou trama layers from the beech horse hoof fungus, it is the rarest craft of the world. This craft It is active only in the village, called Corund. It is a Hungarian inhabited village in eastern Transylvania, in the middle of Romania The history, the tools, the products, the benefits of amadou, (the trama layer of beech fungus) are presented and you will join the live demonstration to understand how the finest organic material of the world is gained with simple tools and handwork from an apparently hard and useless mushroom from the tree. Groups from 1 to 10 persons are taken at fixed price of 50 EUR. Groups bigger than 10 persons have variable price/pers. We guide in English, German, Hungarian and Romanian.  We  offer this activity all year long, rainy, sunny or winter day, does not  matter. At least one day in advance booking is required.
