Both the phrase and the activity come from the Dolomites in Italy. Safe climbing requires technical equipment: harness, shock-absorbing bridle, helmet and gloves. In the Red Lake tourist destination there is only one such built-in iron climbing road, which bears the name of Wild Ferenc, and is built on the south-western side of the Suhardul Mic/Kis-Cohárd. Its total length is 200 meters and the level difference is 170 meters. Nearby there is another such ironed climbing path in the Munticelu/Munticseli nature reserve called Astragalus with a total length of 700 meters, divided into 5 climbing paths and the level difference of the main route is 285 meters. Participation requirements: minimum height 1.6 meters and minimum weight 40 kilograms (below 40 kilograms, the shock-absorbing bridle is not activated). In these programs we provide: seat belt, shock-absorbing bridle, safety helmet, guide (cave rescue specialist). The program can be held from April to November, depending on weather conditions.   Before each tour, participants complete a declaration of their own responsibility and we recommend accident insurance. The Salt Mountain and Salt Canyon Natural Reserve in Praid/Parajd are nationally protected geological nature conservation areas. The entrance is marked by large banners and signs and can be visited during the April-October period. The railing along the path leads all the way to the spring that is constantly building the sediment cone, and then to the lookout at the top of the hill. La începutul turei noastre, după o scurtă plimbare ajungem la o colibă, adăpostul de vară tipic pentru Ghimeș, unde gazda ne prezintă prepararea de brânzeturi tradiționale, după care putem să și degustăm produsele obținute. La cetatea Rakoczi aflăm despre istoria hotarului milenar, vizităm cea mai veche capelă din zonă și casa vamală. Pe celălalt mal al Trotușului, ne aducem aminte de romanul ”Pădurea Spânzuraților” de Liviu Rebreanu, și de Emil Rebreanu. La Lunca de Jos, la satul de vacanță (Skanzen) cu case tradiționale învățăm despre peisagistică, moara de apă din muzeu și arta populară. La cerere, poți vizita o familie din Ghimeș și să descoperi stilul lor de viață tradițional și zilele lor obișnuite cu muncă. Poți participa la coacerea pâinii, afli despre tainele confecționării instrumentului gardon și poți cutreiera străduțele înguste ale satului pe căruţă trasă de cai. We start our hiking tour in the mining town of Balan (840 m) as we embark on our trail gradually climbing to the Lonely Stone Hut (1504 m). This trail is part of the Bicaz Gorges - Hasmas Mountains National Park and it can be accessed only by foot or by horse riding. After having a break at the mountain hut, the brave ones can climb the 1608 m high rock cathedral, called Lonely Stone and be rewarded by the gorgeous panorama that reveals from the top. We continue our trail either to the top of the Great Hasmas Mountain (1792 m) or to the top of the Ecem Mountains (1707 m). We descend back to our car on the same trail. Those who choose to extend their trip with one extra hiking day, can stay for overnight at the mountain hut and enjoy the sunset around the Ciuc Basin and a traditional polenta with cheese and drinks served by the hosts.The hut has electricity, bunk bed style rooms and meals served in the dining room with long wooden tables and seats. There is no running water, but you can find a spring a couple hundred meters away.

Te invităm să vizitezi cel mai bogat colţ în resurse naturale din Carpaţii Orientali, unde vulcanii şi fenomenele postvulcanice au avut drept rezultat nişte minuni unice ale naturii, alcătuind o lume fermecată. Tinovul Mohoş, un crater de aproape 80 de hectare în Munţii Ciomad este prima noastră oprire, unde descoperim cum a luat naştere această zonă de vegetaţie specială, admirăm ochiurile de apă pitoreşti, învăţăm despre rarităţiile botanice din epoca glaciară precum plantele carnivore. De la marginea craterului coborâm la Lacul Sfânta Ana, care este unic şi prin faptul că este singurul lac vulcanic din Europa Centrală și de Est. După o plimbare cu barca sau în jurul lacului urmează o excursie în zona Balvanyos pe Muntele Puturosu, unde urmând marcajul turistic putem urca prin pădure până la cea mai mare mofetă naturală din Europa, Peştera Puturosu. Fosta mină de sulf emană zilnic peste 4000 de metri cubi de gaz sulfuric. De aici ne continuăm drumul spre Băile Fetelor Apor, unde întâlnim o multitudine de izvoare naturale cu compoziţie chimică unică în Europa, aici putem să ne răcorim şi să beneficiem de forţa tămăduitoare a naturii. Tura se poate completa la cerere cu o pândă de urşi în apropiere sau degustare de bere artizanală la o fabrică locală. Our easy walking tour is recommended especially to families with kids or groups of friends who like being outdoors in nature. The trail can be easy to moderate and tailored to the specific interest and physical fitness of the group. During the tour we hike up to one of the best belvedere points of the Gyimes Valley, the rocky towers called Fortress of Owls by the locals.

Our goals at KidsSport are to help kids: • Love sports • Experience the joy of movement • Develop a sense of belonging while being part of a community or team • Build confidence through new and challenging situations • Spend more time outdoors, close to nature Upcoming Events: • Open Day (late October/early November): Let every child try skiing on our artificial slope. • World Snow Day in Miercurea Ciuc/Csíkszereda (third Sunday of January): We received the "Best World Snow Day" award in 2021 from the International Ski Federation. • SnowKidz (mid-February): An event organized by the International Ski Federation. • Joint Sliding (early March): Our ski season finale, where KidsSport children slide down a designated course, receiving medals, certificates, and other gifts. Hikers will especially appreciate this route, as Borsec/Borszék is home to many natural attractions. Spiced with the legends of the fairies and the founding sayings of our small town, we start the walk at the entrance of the Round Seat Nature Reserve, from where we touch the "lábferedő" (little traditional pools for foot soaking), the Bear's Cave, the Ice Cave and the Mofetta. Tura de schi combină bucuria schiului alpin cu libertatea oferită de schiul fond şi asigură accesarea celor mai frumoase peisaje ale Munţii Harghitei. Tura ghidată de salvamonţi începe la Harghita Băi, şi pe un traseu frumos şi variat ajunge la Vârful Harghita Ciceu, de unde putem admira peisaje pitoreşti ale Munţii Harghitei. În condiţii favorabile se vede lanţurile Carpaţiilor Orientali şi vârfurile Carpaţiilor Meridionali.De la Paitra Bufniţei cu o coborâre uşoară ajungem înapoi la Harghita Băi.

Excursie de neuitat cu schi de tură de la Harghita Băi la Harghita-Mădăraşi. Traseul de 12 km începe la Harghita Băi şi într-o parte urmăreşte traseul de crestă a Munţii Harghitei. Ghidul nostru, care face parte din echipa de salvamont din Harghita, are toate cunoştinţele şi experienţa pentru a coordona în siguranţă o tură de schi de neuitat. Traseul variat şi diferenţele de niveluri necesit cunoştinţe intermediare de schi şi o condiţie fizică bună şi . Traseul se duce între păduri dese şi poiane înzăpezite, cu pante mai uşoare şi mai grele, cu zăpadă neatinsă şi peisaje de iarnă fermecătoare. La această tură poţi savura toate bucuria oferită de schiul de tură, care combină schiului alpin cu libertatea schiului fond. După un prânz înbelşugat la Harghita-Mădăraş, putem urca pe cel mai înalt vârf al Munţii Harghitei (1801 m) sau ne întoarcem la Harghita Băi savurând fiecare secunde petrecute pe schiuri.

The wonderful idea of the founder of the Ski Area 'Șureanu', put in the calendar the date of January 1, 2012, as the official starting date of the 'Bulgărașu' Winter School. The team, born from the common passion of young people for sport, especially for skiing, formed by certified instructors, gave birth to a state of mind called 'Bulgărașu'. Thus, in the 2012-2013 season, Bulgărașu' took new wings when the instructors from Mures and Harghita started a new chapter of the 'Bulgărașu' Winter School in the Toplița/Maroshévíz Ski Area, Harghita County.

Misiunea echipei noastre, misiunea fiecărui instructor în parte este să contribuim la menținerea siguranței pârtiilor de schi și a atmosferei familiale a Munților Mădăraș, nu numai prin activitate de salvator de munte ci și prin pregătirea corespunzătoare a schiorilor. Scopul nostru este înființarea unei stațiuni și centre de schi și agrement care pregătește schiorii pentru schi în siguranță începând de la vârsta cea mai fragedă.

The Ciuc Region Transylvanian Carpathian Association is a not-for-profit non-governmental association. The goals of EKE are to: protect the natural environment; practice and promote hiking and ecotourism in general; and know, popularize, and protect cultural and ethnic values.

From Uz Bence chalet we follow the local road to the house of the forester, from where we approach the ski slopes to the right. We cross the top of the Csipike Slope, following the road to the Miklós Slope that we cross. Following the imaginary line marking the margins of the Orottas crater, we look toward North and see the saddle that will be the turning point to the left. Following the ridge we reach the rocky formation named Kossuth's Rock (the maximum altitude of the trail) located near the ski slope with a similar name. From this point we descend to the cauldron in which we see a savannah, then following the high voltage network we descend on the very visible path, oriented towards S-SE, this path will cause us to cross some muddy areas, after which we will intersect the road forest Piricske, where several holiday homes are visible. Following the stream of the brook, after a few crossings of the meadow, sprinkled by volcanic bombs, we find to the left DN 13 A at about 4.5 km from Miercurea Ciuc (end of the mark). After approx. 0.7 km downhill along the paved road, we reach the intersection with a country road (left), called Ciba street, served by local bus races. The trail is in the Harghita mountains.

We created Stone Age Climbing Space with the goal of making the experience of climbing accessible to all ages — whether someone is a complete beginner or an experienced climber. Our indoor climbing gym offers routes of various difficulty levels, and we place great emphasis on providing a safe and supportive environment. In addition, we regularly organize training sessions, introductory classes, community events, as well as family, children’s, and adult programs.
