Mountain Hunters climbing route

We created Stone Age Climbing Space with the goal of making the experience of climbing accessible to all ages — whether someone is a complete beginner or an experienced climber. Our indoor climbing gym offers routes of various difficulty levels, and we place great emphasis on providing a safe and supportive environment. In addition, we regularly organize training sessions, introductory classes, community events, as well as family, children’s, and adult programs.

Székelyudvarhely’s first indoor climbing gym, WonderWall Climbing Gym, has been welcoming climbing enthusiasts from near and far since October 2024.  Our goal is, among other things, to introduce the secrets of climbing to those who have never tried it before and would like to give it a go, while also providing professional-level services to help experienced climbers pursue their favorite sport.  Currently, we welcome visitors with a 140m² bouldering wall.

The good mood, and the adventure are guaranteed! • Via Ferrata Wild Ferenc: Location: Red Lake, Suhardu-Mic. Its total length is 200 meters and the level difference is 170 meters with avesome view, and with a hanging bridge.  The climbing route is named after Ferenc Wild, who was a well-known alpinist, rocklimbing trainer, and the founder of the Suhardu Mic Mountainresque team, later Dancurás Mountainresque team, wich is still exists. Dificulty C, the hardest section is D, climbing time 1/1,5 – 2 our. • Via Ferrata Astragalus: Location: Rezervația Cheile Șugaului, with a total length of 700 meters, and the level difference is 285 meters. the climbing route is named Astragalus wich is a local plant, wich can only be found here, so it is really rare. The Astragalus route is the longest via ferrara route in Romania, and ofers unforgetable view and adventure. It was built by a wellknown alpinist Ticu Lacatusu. Dificulty B, hardest section C, climbing time: 2/2,5 – 3 our. Number of participants: min. 2, max 6.

During the climb we enter the rocky realm of peregrine falcons. You may admire the view and the typical flora of the rocky habitat. Please keep in mind not to disturb the life of the falcons. Be silence and do not litter. Basic informations: • trail length: 240 m • elevation: 120 m • difficulty level: A/H (average/hard) • climbing time: 50 min. (advanced level) • minimum required height: 150 cm • minimum age: 14 years Climbing is a risky activity. Every person may use the trail on their own responsibility. Equipment required: helmet, harness, lanyard energy absorber (UIAA), climbing gloves.

Nurture in Nature, fueled by our passion for nature and active living, offers able and special need persons sports equipment, guidance and amazing views throughout the year! We offer a wide range of adventures for able and disabled people. From spring till autumn we run, wander on foot, take e-bike tours, downhill with disability bikes, go climbing or enjoy a via ferrata route. In the winter we switch to touring skis, we teach kids and curious adults how to ski/snowboard, and with the help of our sitskiis we offer some great fun to our disabled friends.

HIGH-LEVEL RECREATION Our newly created park is the ideal destination for those who yearn after adventure and recreation in Izvoare at the foot of the Harghita Mădăraș mountains. You can also find the „Öreg Szivacs” restaurant and trout pond in our park. We offer perfect recreation for all ages in the heart of the valley. We are the first Segway park in Transylvania but of course we can also offer many other programs, for example: Mountaincart, Via Ferrata, BIG AIR BAG, ATV and organized tours to Harghita Mădăraș. Our experts take care of the visitors’ entertainment. Izvoare is at a distance of 25 km from Odorheiu Secuiesc and it is situated under the pine woods and heights of the Harghita Mădăraș mountains. This region shows us its attractiveness, beauty, values and treasures. Maybe there is no other place in Europe where the landscape determines this much the structure of the locality and people’s way of thinking. Over the decades the landscape has formed everything according to its wish.

Indiferent dacă ești nou în escaladă sau ai deja experiență, această tură ghidată de via ferrata este o modalitate excelentă de a te provoca și a vedea împrejurimile Lacului Roșu sau ale Cheilor Bicazului din perspectiva unei păsări în condiții de maximă siguranță. Această aventură verticală este asigurată de traseul montat cu cabluri, scări metalice, pitoane și de un pod suspendat între două stânci. Traseul este securizat, iar cu echipamentul profesional și ghidul asigurat de noi, această aventură este o experiență potrivită și pentru familii cu copii. Nu ai nevoie de experiență anterioară, singura condiție pentru participare este gestionarea bună a fricii de înălțime și condiția fizica necesară pentru urcarea unei scări. În funcție de interes și disponibilitate, programul poate fi prelungit printr-o tură ușoară la Grădina Zânelor sau la Peștera Munticelu aflate în apropierea celor două trasee de via ferrata din jurul Cheilor Bicazului. In Borsec/Borszék and Toplița/Maroshévíz there are many climbing areas with different difficulty routes (5-8+), where our team can provide equipment and assistance.
