About

Wonderful sight and fragrance awaits the visitors. The aromatic, ornated field, the bluish-purple herb-hill with a stunning scent awaits the lavender lovers.
Goat milk lavender soup, lavender syrup, lavender strawberry jam, fragrant bouquets and pillows can be bought by those who visit Cechești/Csekefalva during the festival.
The homely atmosphere and the special event was created by the local Unitarian pastor to introduce the versatile use and beneficial effects of the fragrant, purple flower. Those interested can visit the lavender plantation, take photos of themselves or take part in various activities.

The festival is held every year in June.

At the start, the vibrant city center gets your heart racing, then you pass by the monumental Márton Áron High School — a true historical gem from the early 1900s. From there, it’s off to nature: through Csíkpálfalva and Delne, where the iconic Egyes-kő (Solitary Rock) greets you from afar as you run.
