Optional extras include rural hospitality, mushroom picking, picnics, or visits to local producers. 15 Cube stereo hybrid 750Wh (2023) electric mountain bikes are available for rent at the Gyimesi Skanzen Guesthouse. We can provide guided tours on request. Take a bike tour with “Adventure Expert” to enjoy the beauty of Romania’s nature and the unforgettable views of the Transylvania Mountains. Our guide will show you the places that you can not reach by car or walk. You can also rent a bike and go on an independent bicycle tour. You can spend weekends, holidays or corporate events (for example, team building) by choosing mountain bike tours. You can decide which route to choose depending on your physical fitness and desires. You can choose an extreme tour or an easy route to enjoy the fields and forests in the vicinity of Baile Tusnad. But in any case, you will find many animals, birds and beautiful landscapes. Number of people: individually or in groups of 5 or more. Age of participants: from 6 years old everyone who can use the bike. Program time: from 1.5 hours. Location: the mountains in the vicinity of Baile Tusnad. A lot of route options. Please discuss them with the Adventure Expert staff. Start: near the Eco-boutique hotel “Fortuna” or from any other point by agreement. Safety: all participants must undergo a briefing, participants are given helmets and equipment. Cost: adults - 60 RON per person per day; children - 45 RON per person per day (helmet, guide on on request).  Additional Information: - The program is available in spring, summer, autumn (when there is no snow). - This tour is environmentally friendly and does not cause damage to nature. - Be careful when choosing individual tours. Note that shepherd dogs can be aggressive.

From spring till autumn we run, wander on foot, take e-bike tours, downhill with disability bikes, go climbing or enjoy a via ferrata route. In the winter we switch to touring skis, we teach kids and curious adults how to ski/snowboard, and with the help of our sitskiis we offer some great fun to our disabled friends.

Poți să te bucuri de ciclism montan pe teren variat, trasee care te duc printre păduri dense și pășuni extinse, cu urcuşuri şi coborâşuri, și diferențe de nivel semnificative, toate prin sălbăticiunea neatinsă a Munților Harghitei. Proximitatea naturii și traseul variat desemnat de ghidul profesionist, peisajul minunat, ne duc într-o lume fermecată, unde câteodată atmosfera poate fi încinsă de prezența câinilor ciobănești care păzesc turmele de oi. În timpul turei putem vizita lacul de acumulare din Zetea, satul risipit Vărșag, dar putem urca chiar până la Harghita-Mădăraș prin localitatea Izvoare. Tura noastră e-bike pornește din Băile Tușnad, descoperim comorile naturale inedite din Munţii Ciomad, o porțiune extrem de interesantă a Carpaților Orientali. Începem tura prin vizitarea Băilor Fetelor Apor, unde învățăm despre izvoare naturale, după care facem fotografii spre panorama Bixad. Pe un drum ascuns pedalăm pe marginea sudică a craterului, iar pe un drum lateral coborâm la lacul vulcanic Sfânta Ana. Ne odihnim un pic, apoi facem o tură în jurul lacului, și în final întâlnim rarităţiile botanice din Tinovul Mohoş. Fiind personalizabilă, recomandăm această experiență și familiilor cu copii mici sau copii mai mari (cu o înălțime de peste 150 cm).
