We warmly welcome you to Székelyderzs, where history lives hand in hand with village life, at the foot of the over 800-year-old fortified church, recognized as both a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a Hungarikum, within the Szekler-Hungarian community. We offer full-day programs for visiting groups, including a guided tour of the fortified church – with the option of tasting the bacon kept traditionally in the bastion.  Activities may include: · Take a scenic ride by tractor or jeep along a 22-kilometer-long historical route, passing by the old Hungarian border and the Árpád Stone. · Experience authentic local food and join in some traditional folk singing (especially after sunset) · Learn the traditional songs and dances of the village with the Derzsi Zenekarocska (Little Folk Band of Derzs) · Horseback riding and guided tours on horseback are available. · Rent and try out electric bikes, mountain bikes, scooters, or off-road buggies – available for both children and adults via ebike4u.ro. · Take part in a cultural experience that includes a folk art and a costume presentation, along with the opportunity to learn traditional handicrafts.  · Learn about medicinal herbs and traditional fruit growing, while children enjoy classic folk games.  · Visit a traditional "esztena" – a seasonal sheepfold high in the hills. You are also welcome to stay for multiple days in local guesthouses (e.g. orbanpanzio.ro) or hostels, enjoying a peaceful rest or taking day trips across the Szekler and the Saxon regions. Borsec/Borszék is a small, picturesque community in Harghita County, located in the heart of the Eastern Carpathians. Tour Plan: • Departure: At 8:00 AM from Praid/Parajd by minibus or car (8+1 seats). • Travel to Borsec: A 1.5-hour scenic drive with optional stops. • Arrival & Refreshments: After breakfast, stop for a drink at the Csíki Söröző. • Hike: Explore the Fairy Glade and enjoy the landscape. Opportunities to observe wildlife and taste local mineral waters. • Lunch: Picnic at a picturesque spot with your own food or eat at a local restaurant. • Afternoon Activities: Optional bobsled ride and relaxation in the mineral baths. • Return to Praid: Around 5:00 PM. • Arrival & Dinner: Back in Praid with an option for dinner either at the guesthouse or at a local inn. Join us for an exciting off-road tour where you can explore the stunning panoramas of the Salt Region! On the way to the Atyha Lookout, you'll enjoy breathtaking views of the Făgăraș Mountains, the Sóvidék Basin, and the Harghita Mountains. Upon request, we can provide a meal during the tour. The tour starts at 15:00 from Sóvidék Panzió and lasts between 3 to 5 hours. Along the route, there is an option to make a circular tour passing through Küsmőd and Siklód. Are you hungry for adventure? Enjoy the freedom of the Eastern-Carpathian Mountains on a clib! The good mood, and the adventure are guaranteed! • Via Ferrata Wild Ferenc: Location: Red Lake, Suhardu-Mic. Its total length is 200 meters and the level difference is 170 meters with avesome view, and with a hanging bridge.  The climbing route is named after Ferenc Wild, who was a well-known alpinist, rocklimbing trainer, and the founder of the Suhardu Mic Mountainresque team, later Dancurás Mountainresque team, wich is still exists. Dificulty C, the hardest section is D, climbing time 1/1,5 – 2 our. • Via Ferrata Astragalus: Location: Rezervația Cheile Șugaului, with a total length of 700 meters, and the level difference is 285 meters. the climbing route is named Astragalus wich is a local plant, wich can only be found here, so it is really rare. The Astragalus route is the longest via ferrara route in Romania, and ofers unforgetable view and adventure. It was built by a wellknown alpinist Ticu Lacatusu. Dificulty B, hardest section C, climbing time: 2/2,5 – 3 our. Number of participants: min. 2, max 6.
