The local gastronomic point "Vatra Strămoșească" has opened its doors to the public in the picturesque commune of Sărmaș. The dining venue warmly welcomes all those who carry in their hearts the nostalgic longing for homemade dishes "made in Grandma's kitchen." The hosts wholeheartedly and convincingly invite visitors to their table, where tradition is alive, the food has soul, and every single guest becomes part of the large family. Visitors can step into the realm of pure flavors and authentic traditions at the ”Bunătățile Băciței” Local Gastronomic Point, right in the heart of Sărmaș! This is not just an eatery, it is described as a journey into the soul of Transylvanian shepherd cuisine, where the gift of nature meets meticulously preserved recipes. Here, every bite is said to bring back the taste of childhood, proving that the most memorable experiences are born from the simplest ingredients. The cornerstone of the kitchen is lamb meat, which is used to prepare unforgettable dishes, carefully spiced and following local traditions. Special attention is also paid to the treasures of the forest: fresh, carefully selected wild mushrooms from the surrounding woods—Boletus, Honey Fungus, and Chanterelles —enrich the menu, cleaned with care and transformed into delicious meals. The deepest flavor experience is offered by the rustic potatoes baked in embers, whose smoky aroma evokes the genuine, original shepherd fires. To complement these, the establishment offers its artisanal sourdough bread (pita), prepared using traditional methods, its taste carrying the warmth of a grandmother's kitchen. ”Bunătățile Băciței” Local Gastronomic Point  is presented as the meeting point for the delicacies of the past, present, and future. Our local gastronomy point welcomes guests with a family-like atmosphere and flavors characteristic of the Ciuc/Csík region. Our dishes are prepared from local, mostly homegrown ingredients, following traditional recipes. Guests can take part in communal activities such as baking lángos, cooking in a cauldron, or grilling, and they can taste local delicacies such as pork feast specialties, crispy pork knuckle, trout, and many other mouthwatering dishes. We also provide accommodation and the opportunity to enjoy a hot tub at our guesthouse. We welcome our guests only with prior reservation. We look forward to welcoming you!

At Local Gastronomic Point "Călimani" in Hodoșa/Hyergyóhodos, we invite you to discover the authenticity of Transylvanian cuisine. Our dishes are prepared with local ingredients and served in a welcoming setting with a warm and friendly atmosphere. Welcome to our Local Gastronomic Point! You can taste our traditional products made from 100% Mangalica (Hungarian breed of domestic pig) from our own farm in our small gastropoint. Booking/reservation required, at least 24 hours in advance for cold tastings, at least 72 hours in advance for roast pig with down payment.  Thank you very much for your understanding.

You can choose from permanent and seasonal programs, but in every case, advance registration is required. At Sasfészek, craftsmanship and traditions intertwine, offering activities such as easter egg painting, gingerbread baking, cheese making, herbal knowledge activities, and workshops. At "Medverbarlang" Local Gastronomic Point, guests can enjoy the traditional flavours of the Odorhei/Udvarhely region. Our gastronomic point is located in a quiet, family atmosphere. The Sólyom Major farmyard is a gastropoint since 2019. Animals belonging to the holding: gray cattle, goats, sheep, pigs, horses, poultry. We prepare our dishes according to the recipes of the Szekler kitchen. Other activities: horse riding, horse-drawn carriage rides, hiking, equestrian camps, time travel in or around the village Șoimușu Mic/Kissolymos. You can camp at our farm or use it with caravan. Our own brand is Dianna Manufactory (lavender and herbal products).
