Grandma Róza’s Kitchen (Róza mama konyhája) brings visitors closer to the story of traditional oven-baked sour cream pies and homemade bread from Satu Mare/Máréfalva. The authentic countryside homestead, full of farm animals, adds the perfect touch to the delicious food and traditional rural experience.  Satu Mare/Máréfalva is known for its hundreds of carved Szekler gates, living traditions, farms bustling with livestock, and picturesque landscapes—where locals can still be seen traveling by horse-drawn cart today.  Grandma Róza has been baking delicious pies and loaves of bread for 50 years. Visitors can discover this half-century of skill, hard work, and history during a special live baking demonstration.  Services •  During the live baking demonstration, guests can follow step-by-step how traditional sour cream, semolina, blueberry, or sweet curd cheese pies are made. They can also gain insight into the bread-making process and even get hands-on experience if they wish. •  The baking experience can be complemented with breakfast, lunch, or dinner, allowing visitors to taste the traditional flavors of Grandma Róza’s Kitchen firsthand. We are delighted to introduce our new gastro point, opening soon in Ulieș/Kányád, Harghita County, located on our panoramic plot at the edge of the village, along Road 133 towards Daia/Székelydálya, just 550 metres from the Via Transilvanica hiking route. What our Gastro Point offers Our Gastro Point can comfortably accommodate up to 12 people at a time, who can enjoy a hearty menu prepared in our own kitchen with care and attention. In our kitchen, we prepare simple, fresh and filling dishes. We welcome our guests each day with one or two menu options. We source our ingredients locally, from farms in the village, or from our own garden, vegetable patch and household. Our yard also offers the possibility of camping, including for guests arriving with tents. Depending on your preference, you can enjoy your meal either on the terrace of the house or in the indoor dining room. It is important to us that our dishes are not only delicious and filling, but also preserve the flavours and atmosphere of traditional Székely cuisine. Gyimes Gastro House welcomes visitors to the Gyimes region with traditional flavors and unforgettable experiences. The menu features archaic dishes from Gyimes, prepared exclusively from local ingredients. Beyond the culinary experience, guests can get an up-close look at this enchanting world through the “Seeing is Believing” program. During a pleasant hiking tour, participants can gain insight into daily life in Gyimes farming while admiring the beauty of the landscape. At the end of the walk, they can relax in a traditional mountain cabin (“kaliba”), where the silence of nature provides true rejuvenation. Kokojza - specialty café, breakfast place, community space in the heart of Sfântu Gheorghe! Cetate Guesthouse is located in Balvanyos resort, at a very short distance from Băile Balvanyos (about 400 m) and in the immediate vicinity of Hotel Transilvania. The foundations of the castle built in Renaissance and Classicist styles were laid at the beginning of the 17th century by Mihály Daniel, deputy captain of Three Chairs (later Covasna county). Since then, the edifice has suffered many transformations, but there is one thing that has not changed: the murals, which can be considered its trademark. The "Kenyérműhely" artisan bakery and café is located in Gheorgheni/Gyergyószentmiklós. Their products – breads, sourdough baguettes, and pastries – are made using traditional, ancient methods with live sourdough starter, rye flour, and spelt flour. Our goal is to offer our customers healthy, highly nutritious, yet easily digestible staple foods that nourish both body and soul. We believe that high-quality bread should be accessible to everyone.
