I am István Gáspár, the founder of Gazsi Manufaktúra. Together with my family, we have been studying, collecting, and processing medicinal plants for 15 years. I spent my childhood close to nature, observing and absorbing everything that the Harghita landscape and environment offered. Our everyday life is in harmony with the rhythm of nature, but our true strength lies in our family’s unity. Everyone has their role and strengths, and we complement one another. As a second-generation herbalist, I consider it important to preserve traditions, apply modern technologies, and pass on our knowledge to the younger generation. Zetea/Zetelaka is a large village located in the heart of Szeklerland. It is surrounded by beech, oak, and pine forests stretching at the foot of the Harghita Mountains. One of its greatest values is its unspoiled natural environment. Cleanliness, order, traditional gastronomy, hospitality, and a cohesive Szekler community characterize the area. The ingredients for our handcrafted products are collected by hand from this untouched environment, then carefully selected and packaged. From us, you receive not just a tea, but health, vitality, and an experience. RIBON Factory Tour: A Journey into the World of Fruit Processing and Dietary Supplement Production We invite you to a special experience in Csíkmadaras: a guided tour of the RIBON factory, where the rich fruit treasures of the Transylvanian forests are transformed into high-quality, natural dietary supplements. During this modern factory visit, you'll gain a comprehensive overview of the entire production process from the arrival of the fruits through processing, freeze-drying, extract preparation, and bottling, all the way to the finished product.  You'll also get a behind the scenes look at the expertise and careful work that goes into every RIBON product. A highlight of the program is the forest-like culinary experience: the flavors and scents of blackcurrant, wild blueberry, lingonberry, and raspberry, combined with all-natural ingredients, create a delight for the senses. At the Tercsi meat processing facility in Ineu/Csíkjenőfalva, visitors can gain insight into the traditional meat processing process and the world of high-quality, additive-free meat products. During the program, they can learn about the steps of processing based on local raw materials, as well as the production of items that preserve traditional flavors. The operation of the facility is based on carefully selected ingredients sourced from the region, which are used to produce premium-quality products. VISITS ARE AVAILABLE BY PRIOR APPOINTMENT ONLY.

Herbal teas and spices from „SzentÁbrahám” are the best quality hand made, luxury products in the Carphatians. From each tea bag and spice packet are radiating life energy and health because the herbs are growen in an organic garden and the products are hand made by a family, who feels respect and love for nature and life. Beside production we welcome visitors and offer them: • Introduction with different herbal teas and tasting our spices in different foods prepared by us. • Short history of the village, our 300 years old mansion and organic herb growing methods. • Guided tour in the herb garden, where we grow more than 60 types of medicinal plants, vegetables and fruits, and teaching about: • organic herb growing with traditional methods and propagating using own seeds • herb drying and processing using home made machineries • hand packed luxury tea mixtures and teas for healing • hand packed spices and seasonings based on medicinal plants • preparing traditional wellness products. The gardon is a musical instrument carved from wood. It resembles a cello, but its body is sculpted from a single piece of wood. At the workshop in Boros Valley, visitors can delve into the secrets of creating this instrument and follow the entire process as the wood comes to life step by step, transforming into a true wonder. Carving the gardon is a fascinating process from start to finish. As the excess material is removed and the final shape of the instrument takes form, each step represents a rebirth of the wood. During the workshop visit, visitors can see how a Gyimes gardon is made or what tools are used in the workshop.

I'm Mircse Ildikó, a master weaver living in Szeklerland, who is happy to show you the weaving process from thread to the finished product. On request, children's activities can be organised in the workshop, during which children weave small items.

During the Csíki Chips factory tour, visitors can gain insight into the world of artisan chip production while learning about the factory’s history, development, and modern manufacturing processes. During the program, guests can discover how the uniquely flavored Csíki Chips products are made. The visit includes a technological presentation and a chips tasting, where visitors can sample several different products. A special children’s program package is also available, which includes the factory tour and a meal. At the end of the program, visitors will also have the opportunity to purchase souvenirs and products related to Csíki Beer and Csíki Chips. Kemecse Ceramic Workshop started its craft activity in 2013. In their product collection they have twice-fired glazed ceramic dishes of different shapes, sizes and functionality. These can be used for hot and cold liquids, but also preparing and serving food, and they are also washable. The shape of the dishes follows clear lines, as does the unique decoration which is made with a so-called scratch technique. They have participated at several fairs with their collection. They also organize open workshops for their visitors upon request. Beside aesthetics, they are also working on perfecting the products’ functionality. The decorations are designed using old Szekler and Hungarian motifs that are inspired by folk tales, natural forms and archetypes.

Visit the Krausz chocolate workshop, where you can learn how artisan chocolates are made, and how a little cacao bean makes its way into an elegant box. You will also taste different flavoured chocolates made with carefully selected and local ingredients. The small family business welcomes visitors to its workshop in Sântimbru/Csíkszentimre!
