About
Our organic farm, located in Lupeni, has been operating for more than a decade with a focus on nature-friendly farming and self-sufficiency. For over 12 years, we have been growing and processing plums, while our chemical-free garden is naturally fertilized with the help of our sheep.
We use our plums in several ways: we make traditional plum jam, pálinka, as well as a variety of dried fruits. A few years ago, we built our own garden fruit dryer, where, depending on the harvest, we prepare delicious homemade specialties.
Sheep farming also plays an important role in the life of our farm. We have been raising sheep for 13 years, and as the flock grew, we built our own traditional sheepfold three years ago. We process the sheep’s milk on the farm, giving visitors the opportunity to discover the everyday life of the sheepfold as well.
In addition to sheep, our farm is also home to donkeys, rabbits, chickens and ducks, along with two sheepdogs and a cat. Our garden is rich in biodiversity and attracts numerous pollinators and bird species.
At our farm, we strive to produce as much as possible ourselves and to live as self-sufficiently as we can. The sheepfold and the farm are open to visitors who wish to experience firsthand the world of traditional animal husbandry, fruit processing and nature-friendly farming.
