UZONKA OPEN FARM – From Pasture to Cheese

As part of the second Open Farm Weekend, Uzonka invites visitors to a fun-filled family programme centred around the journey from pasture to cheese.

Sessions:
• Saturday, September 26 – 14:00
• Sunday, September 27 – 11:00 and 14:00

During the programme, visitors can discover the farm and meet the cows and calves, learn about mountain grazing and 100% grass-fed farming, and see how milk makes its way from the pasture to the dairy.

You can also explore the farm’s machinery and tractors, visit the nearly 90-year-old stone cellar where the cheeses mature, and take part in an interactive cheese-making workshop.

The experience ends with a tasting of Uzonka cheeses and dairy products, followed by a relaxed family picnic by the fishpond.

Participation fee:
Adults: 50 lei/person
Children from 5 years: 30 lei/person
Under 5: free

The fee includes the full farm visit, cheese-making workshop and cheese tasting.
