About
UzOnKa welcomes visitors to the second Open Farm Weekend with a fun and engaging family program. The theme of the day is: From Pasture to Cheese.
The program takes place in two sessions: 11 AM and 2 PM.
During the playful farm tour, children can discover what cows eat, how grass becomes milk, and how milk is turned into cheese. They can meet the animals up close, explore everyday life on the farm, discover the farm machinery and tractors, and get a glimpse into the world of cheesemaking.
The program includes:
- petting calves and feeding the animals
- discovering hay, tractors and farm machinery
- visiting the stone cellar and cheese cellar
- playing with goats, dogs and cats
- making their own small cheese to take home
- tasting two types of UzOnKa cheese
During the program, families can also enjoy a picnic and relax by the fishpond, surrounded by nature, and enjoy the food they bring with them.
UzOnKa aims to offer a relaxed and memorable family day, introducing children to farm life in a fun and engaging way and guiding them on the journey from pasture all the way to cheese.
