1968 – The Reconstruction of a Love

In 1968, a Hungarian university student, Miklós Tóth (played by Martin Mészáros), falls in love with an English woman, Parmenter Alexandra (played by Ágnes Barta). Their love is torn apart by history, transforming their deep emotional relationship into a twisted tale filled with secrets. The film unfolds across two temporal dimensions, following Miklós Tóth at the age of 76 as he embarks on a journey to uncover a mystery from half a century ago, while we anxiously watch the threads lead back to the present.

The film screening will be followed by a Q&A session with director Mária Nagy Anikó.
