The "Kenyérműhely" artisan bakery and café is located in Gheorgheni/Gyergyószentmiklós. Their products – breads, sourdough baguettes, and pastries – are made using traditional, ancient methods with live sourdough starter, rye flour, and spelt flour. Our goal is to offer our customers healthy, highly nutritious, yet easily digestible staple foods that nourish both body and soul. We believe that high-quality bread should be accessible to everyone. During the visit, guests can gain insight into the process of making sourdough bread, learn about the ingredients and traditional baking techniques, and observe the different stages of breadmaking. The visit includes: – presentation of the bakery and open workshop, – introduction to the sourdough bread-making process, – presentation of ingredients and baking technologies, – product tasting (sourdough breads, baguettes, pastries), – opportunity to purchase products. The program offers an enjoyable and immersive introduction to the world of artisan baking and provides a meaningful experience for visitors of all ages.
