Borsec Street Food's motto: Respect the past, live the present, trust the future!
Street food is not a modern-day craze; our grandparents also ate outdoors while working in the fields.
We believe that the warmth and spirit of fire bring people together. That is why we grill our meats over an open flame and charcoal embers. Our bread and dough-based products are made in the traditional way, without flavor enhancers. The animals whose meat we use grazed and were raised here, in the mountains of Transylvania.
The taste of Transylvania is present in our cheeses as well! Authentic Székely products.
We add only the umami flavor and LOVE.
We look forward to welcoming you to Borsec Street Food in Borsec.

The "Kenyérműhely" artisan bakery and café is located in Gheorgheni/Gyergyószentmiklós. Their products – breads, sourdough baguettes, and pastries – are made using traditional, ancient methods with live sourdough starter, rye flour, and spelt flour. Our goal is to offer our customers healthy, highly nutritious, yet easily digestible staple foods that nourish both body and soul. We believe that high-quality bread should be accessible to everyone.
During the visit, guests can gain insight into the process of making sourdough bread, learn about the ingredients and traditional baking techniques, and observe the different stages of breadmaking.
The visit includes:
– presentation of the bakery and open workshop,
– introduction to the sourdough bread-making process,
– presentation of ingredients and baking technologies,
– product tasting (sourdough breads, baguettes, pastries),
– opportunity to purchase products.
The program offers an enjoyable and immersive introduction to the world of artisan baking and provides a meaningful experience for visitors of all ages.

specialty coffee - sourdough - ferments
What is our purpose?
To create a place where quality isn’t a luxury, but a baseline. Where there’s a face behind sourdough bread, a story behind the coffee and ferments, and values behind the food. Where the guest isn’t just a consumer, but part of the community.
We envisioned a space where the city’s consciously living crowd feels at home. Where you don’t just ask for a coffee—you also get conversation, community, and inspiration. Workshops, talks, local producers, and of course a stable, self-sustaining way of operating.
MiMi doesn’t rush—it pauses.
In three words: quality, mindfulness, trust.
And who are we for?
Anyone who chooses consciously—in food, in pace, in lifestyle.
This is MiMi. A new rhythm. The taste of a slower life.
