The Skiers’ Chalet

San Gennaro restaurant is located in a historic building. According to the legend the Hungarian poet Petőfi Sándor lived in this house for a couple of days during his trip made to Transylvania in 1846. Our story begins in August 2004, when four Italians inaugurated an Italian restaurant in the old center of Miercurea Ciuc/Csíkszereda. Today, San Gennaro is one of the city's most famous restaurants. None of this, however, could have happened without Italo De Michelis. More precisely, an Italian citizen who brought us a piece of Italy in Miercurea Ciuc/Csíkszereda.

At the foot of Harghita Madaras - 10 km far from the top, only 25 km from Odorheiu Secuiesc, our houses are located here, in the heart of Ivóvölgye we are waiting for those who want to relax and unwind. Our accommodation is part of the Öreg Szivacs restaurant and guest house as well as the Tired Boots Adventure Base. Our base provides many programs for visitors.   Our restaurant awaits you in a fabulous landscape!

Restaurant in Miercurea Ciuc

Here you can taste the rich varieties of the traditional Hungarian cooking, of the regional Hungarian kitchen of Transylvania, which has probably preserved the most the tastes of the conquering Hungarians as well as the delicacies of international cuisine.

The Medve Deság offers 16 rooms, sauna, bar, outdoor parking, conference room, terrace. Our guests can choose between 4 types of rooms: 2-bed, 3-bed, 4-bed and apartment. We are offering traditional Transylvanian cousines prepared with local ingredients.

Located near Zetea village and built in the '70s for the Ceaușescu family, it was frequently visited by the dictator especially in the autumn, during the deer rutting period. Zetea is the center of traditional wood processing, its inhabitants becoming famous for producing shingles. The villages, the well-preserved customs, and the traditional gates are attractive travel spots for the tourists. The people in this region preserve and truly cultivate the folk traditions. Bogdan Ski and Recreation Center is the ideal retreat for families and friends who want to spend their free time in peace and relaxation. Far from the noise of the city, Bogdan Chalet awaits its guests with 35 beds in common or individual rooms. The cottage has a dining room and a shared kitchen, a living room with a TV and a private bar. The furnishing of the cottage - given its romantic environment - is more natural. The rooms have 3 bathrooms. The Recreation Center is in the middle of a wild landscape, which we recommend to the people who wish to discover this area rich in natural beauty. The nearest neighbor is a shepherd and his flock in the nearby valley. We assure the ones who choose this place to relax, that they will have an unforgettable experience.
