Manó Cottages

At the foot of Harghita Madaras - 10 km far from the top, only 25 km from Odorheiu Secuiesc, our houses are located here, in the heart of Ivóvölgye we are waiting for those who want to relax and unwind. Our accommodation is part of the Öreg Szivacs restaurant and guest house as well as the Tired Boots Adventure Base. Our base provides many programs for visitors.   Our restaurant awaits you in a fabulous landscape! 

The Nyikó Motel first opened in 1999 but it got the infrastructure that you can see today in 2004 when, considering the changing demand of the tourism market, it was remodeled. 9 additional rooms were built allowing that the 4-bed rooms could be changed into doubles providing a comfortable stay for our guests. Currently we have one single room, 16 doubles, 6 three-bed rooms, and 2 four-bed rooms. We can provide accommodation for up to 70 guests. The rooms are all comfortably decorated; they each have their own bathroom and a TV set. Breakfast, lunch and dinner can be served upon request in the motel’s restaurant or summer garden. Guests can also use the services provided by the closed parking lot and the motel’s own gas station.

Natur Air Park - NAP Park is a holiday village, located in Zetea-Subcetaea, the immediate vicinity of the Zetea dam - water reservoir. In the gentle lap of wonderful nature, far from the noise of the city. Only the bird chirp and the sound of the stream break the silence. The houses of Nap Park are located 22 kilometers from Odorheiu Secuiesc, at the Southwestern foot of the Harghita mountains, in the valley of Târnava Mare. Thanks to its central location in Szeklerland, it offers an excellent starting point for many tours and sightseeing.  Our wooden houses in the park provide relaxation for those who want to relax. The natural, almost intact environment offers true relaxation for adults and children as well. Not only the body, but the soul is also replenished.

History of the castle: In 1466 we first hear about the landowner noble Geréb family, who owned the main estate in Fiatfalva, and whose manor house had stood here since the 15th century, on the site of the castle that still stands there today. There are no written records left about this building; it is assumed that in 1588, György Geréb arranged for the renovation of the manor house or the construction of another farm building. In 1625, András Geréb, the captain of the guards of Gábor Bethlen, rebuilt the collapsed manor house in stone, in the form of a castle. In 1628, after the death of András Geréb, leaving no heir, the estates were transferred to the treasury, which were donated by Prince Gabriel Bethlen to Moses Székely the Younger, who was the king's justice in Udvarhelyszék and his fiancée, Judit Lónai. In 1635, George I Rákóczi granted the entire castle of Fiatfalva, along with the associated estates to Matthias Huszár de Brenhida, his steward the chief judge of Marosszék. The castle was in the possession of Moise Székely, but because of his infidelity it passed to the prince. Matthias Huszár died in 1652, and among his two daughters, Borbála Huszár, or after her first husband, Györgyné Torma, inherited the castle of Fiatfalva. Borbála Huszár and her second husband, János Nemes de Hídvég, held their wedding in the Fiatfalva castle in February 1676. Read more... Castle Rental: Thanks to the reconstruction completed between 2021 and 2024, the castle shines in its new yet timeless splendor. One wing houses the event halls, while the gate wing has 12 hotel rooms, each with its own bathroom and a view of the garden. The entire castle is available for rent. Our guesthouse is 26 km away from Odorheiu Secuiesc, and can be reached by following the direction of the Târnava Mare river, until arriving in the center of the Izvoare village. Gyopár Guesthouse awaits its guests in a pleasant environment, where the clean air of the coniferous forests and the endless gurgle of the Ivó stream ensures a wonderful atmosphere and perfect relaxation. The guesthouse is at 795 m altitude. There is a gazebo in the courtyard. There are 5 wooden bungalows, each with two beds, a children's gallery, a bathroom, a table, a cupboard and a TV. In front of the cottages there are playgrounds for the children. The lake has trout, which offers you the opportunity to test your fisherman's skills.

Camping Irimescu from Borsec has 13 rooms (spaces) with a total of 26 places.

Eti Camping (tent or bungalow camp) is the ideal place in Borsec to set your tent. The area is in Upper Borsec area, on the edge of the resort, towards the ski slope. The camping offers 40 wooden houses, each with two beds. Shared bathroom, hot and cold water, playground, sports ground, school camp organization. Services and recreation: sports ground, camping, campfire. Barbecue on the campsite.
