Nestled at the foot of the Bucsin Mountains in the picturesque village of Borzont, Székelyföld Guesthouse combines the beauty of nature, authentic Szekler hospitality, and modern comfort. The rustic log-built guesthouse and year-round wooden cottages create a warm and welcoming atmosphere for every guest. The property offers 18 comfortable rooms with a total capacity of 36 guests. Each room features a private bathroom, TV, and minibar, while the breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains provide the perfect setting for a relaxing getaway. A rich breakfast prepared from local ingredients, wellness facilities, and countless opportunities for hiking and outdoor activities make Székelyföld Fogadó an ideal choice for families, nature lovers, and travelers seeking both relaxation and adventure. Merke Guesthouse is located 6 km from Homoródalmás, in the picturesque Vargyas Valley, on the banks of the Vargyas and Arapatak streams. The famous Almási Cave is only 1.5 km away, making the area an ideal destination for hiking, relaxation, and nature getaways. The harmony of the beautiful natural surroundings offers the perfect opportunity for rest and recreation. After an active day of hiking, guests can fully unwind in the two hot tubs and the Finnish sauna. Our guesthouses provide an excellent venue for class reunions, team-building events, birthday celebrations, name-day gatherings, and friendly get-togethers. The accommodation is available throughout the year: guests may choose self-catering options, while half-board service is also available upon request. The two guesthouses can accommodate a total of 23 guests (one for 11 people and the other for 12 people). As there is no permanent staff on site, guests can enjoy complete peace and privacy. Upon arrival, the houses are fully prepared for the guests. The houses are fully equipped with kitchenware, cutlery, coffee maker, refrigerator, gas stove, bed linen, and blankets. Room distribution: •  1 room with 4 beds  •  5 rooms with 3 beds  •  2 rooms with 2 beds  Each room has a private bathroom and television. The houses can be rented for a minimum stay of 2–3 nights. Services:  garden, gazebo, barbecue facilities, outdoor cooking area, traditional oven, cauldron cooking facilities, courtyard parking, hot tubs, sauna, football field, playground, and hiking opportunities to the Almási Cave with a tour guide available upon request.

We organize different types and styles of dining experiences, featuring dishes prepared with local ingredients or products from our own farm, carefully selected and served according to your preferences – from meals served in the restaurant or on the terrace to traditional balmoș made with 100% natural ingredients, served at the sheepfold in the Călimani Mountains National Park. Evenings around the campfire with grilled bacon or marshmallows, homemade plum brandy or fine wines, and a relaxing yet energizing atmosphere – the perfect recipe for a successful team-building event. In Toplița and the surrounding area, guests staying at this inn can enjoy activities such as hiking and skiing. Our 15 thoughtfully designed rooms can accommodate a total of 30 guests, each space offering peace, simplicity, and the comfort of home. We have paid attention to every detail: a pleasant atmosphere, comfortable beds, high-quality materials, and harmonious spaces for every visitor. Each air-conditioned unit features a minibar and tea/coffee making facilities. Guests can enjoy the private garden, on-site bar, room service, and a delicious breakfast.
