Visitors can step into the realm of pure flavors and authentic traditions at the ”Bunătățile Băciței” Local Gastronomic Point, right in the heart of Sărmaș! This is not just an eatery, it is described as a journey into the soul of Transylvanian shepherd cuisine, where the gift of nature meets meticulously preserved recipes. Here, every bite is said to bring back the taste of childhood, proving that the most memorable experiences are born from the simplest ingredients. The cornerstone of the kitchen is lamb meat, which is used to prepare unforgettable dishes, carefully spiced and following local traditions. Special attention is also paid to the treasures of the forest: fresh, carefully selected wild mushrooms from the surrounding woods—Boletus, Honey Fungus, and Chanterelles —enrich the menu, cleaned with care and transformed into delicious meals. The deepest flavor experience is offered by the rustic potatoes baked in embers, whose smoky aroma evokes the genuine, original shepherd fires. To complement these, the establishment offers its artisanal sourdough bread (pita), prepared using traditional methods, its taste carrying the warmth of a grandmother's kitchen. ”Bunătățile Băciței” Local Gastronomic Point  is presented as the meeting point for the delicacies of the past, present, and future. Our seasonal ingredients come from valued local producers, including the free-range lambs of Berke farm, raised at the foot of the Harghita mountains, and the fresh fish from Carpathian Fishing. Sólyom Major–Gut Falkenhof is a true corner of heaven nestled in the heart of Transylvania, located in the village of Kissolymos, Harghita County. Designed as a Village Resort, the place aims to offer visitors an oasis of peace, far away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. At Sólyom Major–Gut Falkenhof, the most popular activities are those that combine nature, tradition, and authentic relaxation: • Horse riding is the star attraction – available for both beginners and experienced riders. • Carriage rides in summer and sleigh rides in winter offer a fairytale experience through the Szekler villages and the surrounding mountain landscapes. • Traditional workshops such as bread baking, folk dancing, and campfires offer an authentic connection to the local culture. • The Gastronomic Point attracts gourmets with Szekler dishes cooked from local ingredients, sourced directly from the farm. • Visits to the farm are adored by families – cows, goats, sheep, pigs, horses, and birds live here, and children can interact with the animals. • For nature lovers, guided hikes and walks in the surroundings are available, with the possibility of camping or accommodation in caravans.

The restaurant is located on the Vărșag ski slope, featuring a beautiful panoramic terrace and a playground for children.  It is known for its stunning view and delicious food. Opening hours: 10:00 AM – 9:00 PM 

Our local gastronomy point welcomes guests with a family-like atmosphere and flavors characteristic of the Ciuc/Csík region. Our dishes are prepared from local, mostly homegrown ingredients, following traditional recipes. Guests can take part in communal activities such as baking lángos, cooking in a cauldron, or grilling, and they can taste local delicacies such as pork feast specialties, crispy pork knuckle, trout, and many other mouthwatering dishes. We also provide accommodation and the opportunity to enjoy a hot tub at our guesthouse. We welcome our guests only with prior reservation. We look forward to welcoming you!
