The beekeeping presentation offers a unique opportunity for visitors to gain a closer insight into the world of bees, the everyday life of beekeeping, and the process of natural honey production. During the program, participants can explore the traditions of beekeeping and the essential role of bees in nature through interactive and engaging experiences.

The visit takes place in the educational garden, where the demonstration apiary is located. At the beginning of the program, participants become familiar with beekeeping tools, prepare the smoker, and put on protective clothing. In safe conditions, they can look inside the hive, observe the structure of the bee colony, including worker bees, drones, the queen, and brood, as well as the process of pollen collection.

As part of the program, guests can also take part in a honey and beekeeping product tasting, where they can discover a variety of natural products. The educational presentation highlights the ecological importance of bees, the role of pollination, and the significance of sustainable beekeeping.

For children’s groups, playful activities and interactive tasks are provided, and seasonal or holiday-themed programs are also available.

The duration of the program is generally 1–2 hours and can be adapted to the needs of the group. It is available for both individual visitors and groups.

Prices depend on the group size and the selected program package and are determined upon individual consultation.

The cheese workshop in Gheorgheni/Gyergyószentmiklós was opened in 2017 by Rural Development Gheorgheni/Gyergyószentmiklós. Its primary aim is to show visitors cheesemaking and the ingredients used to make healthy dairy products. They are showint their guests the cheese maturing process, the tools used to make cheese and the maturing cellar, where the cheeses are treated for up to 4 years. Visitors will be able to taste some of the best-known cheeses made from raw milk, matured for a long time and natural yoghurt. Visit the Krausz chocolate workshop, where you can learn how artisan chocolates are made, and how a little cacao bean makes its way into an elegant box.
