At the southeastern end of Lăzărești/Lázárfalva, in a part of the village called Nyír (meaning birch), is the popular traditional bath, Nyírfürdő (meaning Birch Bay). Its mineral spring and mofetta have been known for their healing properties since ancient times.
The mofetta has been used with good results by patients suffering from rheumatic and circulatory disorders.
The wooden bath and its surroundings are tidy and surrounded by birch trees. There is a mineral spring, a foot bath, changing rooms and toilets.

The Dungó Bath got its present form in 2019 in a beautiful setting. In the spirit of traditional Szekler folk architecture, only wooden structures are used in the harmoniously designed environment.
Healing is provided by the foot bath, the cold water and warm water pools and the medicinal water fountain, while recreation and relaxation are provided by the proximity of leisure facilities and nature. In addition, you can barbecue and camp in the spacious yard. There are also plans to build a Finnish sauna and a playground.
The bath water is hypotonic, salty with sodium bicarbonate and calcium magnesium. It is indicated for the treatment of musculoskeletal, gynaecological, gastrointestinal and liver complaints.

On the Hidegség/Valea Rece in Gyimesközéplok/Lunca de Jos, heading upstream for 10 kilometers, one reaches the Muhos Stream. Here there is a spring known as “büdös víz” (“stinky water”), which in the late 1960s and early 1970s was used as a small therapeutic bath in a modest two-tub facility. Since then, only its memory remains—along with the locals’ wish to once again enjoy the beneficial and healing effects of the water.
Building on this idea, Emil Prezsmer and his son Zsolt began constructing a 110-square-meter, two-story building and developing its surroundings. The facility is intended to serve both the residents of Gyimes/Ghimeș and tourists, offering the chance to experience the healing power of this unique water in a picturesque natural environment and under civilized conditions.
Characteristics of the medicinal water:
• oligomineral–acratothermal–hypotonic water
• predominantly sulfate water (magnesium–calcium–sodium sulfate)
• mildly acidic, chloride–saline water (sodium–calcium chloride; earthy–calcareous water; calcium–magnesium water)
• slightly zinc-containing water
• hard water
• athermal water, temperature below 20°C

As part of a project, initiated by the Tourism Association of Corund/Korond, two new pools was created on the original site, one 8×12 metres for adults and one 4×4 metres for children.
Three centuries ago, this place was already famous.
At the foot of the legendary Firtos Hill, at an altitude of five hundred and thirty-four metres above sea level, in the heart of Szeklerland, lies the traditional bath, surrounded by a beautiful large pinewood park!
"The water from the salt spring of Corund/Korond is one of the best salt waters, with important components other than salt, such as the high levels of free carbonic acid, iron and sodium bicarbonate, which are unusual in salt waters. And so it is three times more dense than the world-famous Nauheim, which is why it is called Unicum." (Count Sándor Teleki, 1729)

• for locals 5 RON
• for tourists 10 RON
