Following the Iron Ore Trail – A Heritage Cycling Tour in the Kis-Homoród Valley
Join the Szentegyháza Tourinfo Office and historian Csanád Demeter for an interactive cycling tour exploring the region’s industrial heritage, from ironworking in Vlăhița’s Szentkeresztbánya district to iron ore mining in Lueta.
Highlights:
- Discover local ironworking history and the 1848–49 Revolution
- Uncover the secrets of the former Dobogó spa
- Enjoy mineral water tasting
- Visit a traditional fulling mill and the local school museum
- Finish with a special mountain honey tasting
