Mihály Jánó: “…like worn-out legends…” – Book Launch

The Harghita County Cultural Center invites you to a book launch on April 30, 2026, at 18:00.

The event presents art historian Mihály Jánó’s volume featuring selected studies on research history and iconography. The book will be introduced by art historian Enikő Hegedűs, followed by a visual presentation by the author on medieval wall paintings, highlighting the rich heritage of Transylvanian and European medieval art.

The volume includes nine studies focusing on the medieval art of Transylvania, especially Székely Land, in a broader European context.
