Hășmaș–Hagymás Trail Fest!

HĂȘMAȘ–HAGYMÁS TRAIL FEST – 2nd Edition | Community Trail Run

Join us for a trail running adventure on the spectacular paths of the Hășmaș Mountains!

Organized by ADI Nagyhagymás, this second edition brings together nature, mountain challenges and community spirit. This year’s route takes us from Red Lake (Lacul Roșu) to Bălan, through breathtaking mountain scenery.

Route details:
Start: Red Lake, pier
Finish: Bălan, town center
Distance: 18 km
Elevation gain: 885 m
Elevation loss: 1,006 m

Transport & Schedule:
8:00 – Departure from Bălan by bus
9:00 – Pick-up in Gheorgheni
10:00 – Start at Red Lake pier

A delicious traditional outdoor-cooked meal will be waiting at the finish line, offering a chance to relax and enjoy the day together!

Participation & Registration

Participation is free, but prior registration is required by November 4, 2026.

Please note: Participation is open to adults aged 18 and over.
