32nd EKE Hiking Camp

Dear nature-loving friends,
We warmly invite you to Băile Tușnad for the 32nd EKE Hiking Camp! This year’s most popular event of our association will be hosted by the EKE Ciuc branch between August 5–10, 2025.

Băile Tușnad, one of Transylvania’s most beautiful spa towns, lies in the Olt River valley at the foot of the Ciomad Mountains. Famous for its mineral and sparkling springs, it offers a unique atmosphere for relaxation.

Nature lovers should not miss Lake Saint Anne – the only volcanic crater lake in Central Europe – or the Mohoș Peat Bog, known for its rare plant life.

We await you with diverse and spectacular hiking trails across the Ciomad–Bálványos volcanic region, full of natural wonders and discoveries.
