About

Following a civil initiative, the Csíki Játékszín is created with local government support in 1998.
From the spring of 2018, the actor and director Szilárd Kányádi becomes the director of the theater.

The main goal of the Csíki Játékszín Theater is to satisfy and expand the cultural needs of the city and the region. During a season, he presents 5-6 premieres in the big hall and 4-6 in the studio, but he also invites numerous shows both from the country and abroad.
Our theater tries to enrich the cultural offer addressed to people between 3-18 years with a repertoire for children and young people.
