Via Transilvanica Days

𝐕𝐢𝐚 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐥𝐯𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐚 𝐃𝐚𝐲𝐬: 𝐉𝐮𝐧𝐞 𝟏𝟐–𝟏𝟒, 𝐢𝐧 𝐏𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐝, 𝐇𝐚𝐫𝐠𝐡𝐢𝐭𝐚 𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐲!

The team of the Tășuleasa Social Association is pleased to invite you to Via Transilvanica Days 2026, taking place between June 12–14 in Praid, Harghita County, in the town’s Central Park and nearby areas.

Via Transilvanica Days celebrates local communities, eight years of the trail, and the shared responsibility we all have towards the path and those who walk it. The central theme of the 2026 edition is safety, because we want Via Transilvanica to remain Romania’s first long-distance trail that is accessible to everyone.

We will open conversations around shepherd dogs and the fear of wild animals, together with experts and people who see the situation from different perspectives. Because together we share a common goal: to welcome as many hikers as possible on our trail, so they can discover the places we are proud of. And for that, safety is essential.

This year, we meet in Praid not only to celebrate, but also to learn how to take better care of one another on the path. Because a mature trail means a community that cares. But we will also enjoy it! Hikes, stories, music, workshops, special guests, and people from all regions.

𝐉𝐮𝐧𝐞 𝟏𝟑, 𝟏𝟎:𝟎𝟎–𝟐𝟎:𝟎𝟎: Local products fair from across the Via Transilvanica trail
