Salt and Soul

Generations of memories remained beneath the waters in Praid. The salt mine was more than a tourist attraction — it was a workplace, a meeting place, a natural treasure, and part of the community’s identity.

Organized by Visit Parajd, the open-air photo exhibition “Salt and Soul – A Story That Lives On…” presents the history of the Praid Salt Mine through 250 photographs, from its beginnings to last year’s disaster.
