Running to Harghita!

“What if one day we ran to the summit of Madarasi Harghita?”

What started as an idea during a group run around Odorheiu Secuiesc has grown into “Running to Harghita!”, a shared tradition of more than a decade. Each year, runners come together to experience the mountain, support one another and celebrate their shared love for Harghita.

The 2026 edition will take place on 31 October, with the route leading from Odorheiu Secuiesc to the summit of Madarasi Hargita.
