About

Have you ever thought about how good it would be to call plants and animals on their name? To walk with someone who can speak the "language" of the forest?
Now's the time - Hargita Outdoor's photographer and bear manager Norbert Moraru is leading our next tour (who is a professional nature photographer by the way, and you may have seen his shots in the nature film Untamed Romania.)
So, if you’re wondering how to look for animal footprints in the woods, or if you’re asking how long you have to lurk in a bush to photograph a wolf, we’ve found your man.
The tour starts from Máréfalva at 3 pm (if you come from Udvarhely, we can bring you for 5 RON, we start at 2.30 pm from the Harghita Ourdoor office, at 22 Orbán Balázs) But only an hour there by bike.
Click on the link at the end of the description to see exactly where we meet within Máréfalva.
The bear watch starts around 5.30pm, until than we roam the woods looking for clues and learning to name things.
Bring comfortable shoes, a darker colored top and water (or a bottle, as we also walk into the springs of Homoród), but of course a camera and binoculars are also worth to bring them. As well we are asking you to bring a mask for the beaeór watching. We don't want to contaminate any bears.
The price is 135 RON.
Stay with us on the forest roaming!
