NAGY-KŐ-BÜKK | Mountain Harghita

This time, we are setting off on a longer hike in the South Harghita Mountains. We will start from Băile Jigodin heading towards Harom Castle, passing through Bilibók meadow, and then continue our way towards Hirtelen meadow below Mount Talabor. We will take a lunch break here, and then, bypassing Nagy-Kő-bükk mountain, we will proceed alongside the Lucs peat bog towards Lucs melléke. From there, we will turn towards Kárász feje, and after bypassing the Harom peak, we will return to the route leading back to Băile Jigodin.
Compared to our previous hikes, this will be more difficult, ranking at an upper intermediate level. Our planned average pace is min. 3.3 km/h, which we will try to maintain throughout. Due to the longer distance and the elevation gain, a higher level of endurance will be required this time.
