Harghita Challenge

The coolest hill climb challenge is in Harghita on the 25th of June on the road to Harghita-Băi/Hargitafürdő.

Hill climb racing is one of the most accessible forms of motorsport and one of the oldest approved forms of motorsport in Romania.
In such a race, each driver tries to complete the designated road section in the shortest possible time, which is only on asphalt and uphill (hence the name - hill climb). The riders start one by one every 30 seconds or every minute.
Unlike in rallying, in the hill climb races only the driver is in the car, so single-seater cars can also compete.
