A Sudden Case of Christmas (SUB RO)

An American couple takes their 10-year-old daughter, Claire, to her grandfather Lawrence's hotel in the Dolomites, Italy. The family usually visits for Christmas, but this year, everything is happening in... August. The truth is that the couple is separating, and they want Lawrence to be the one to break the news to Claire, especially since he shares such a special bond with his granddaughter. Once Claire realizes there won’t be a family Christmas this year, she insists on celebrating Christmas right here, right now, in August — including inviting her other grandparents. Together with her grandfather, Claire plans activities aimed at reuniting her parents. However, the plan backfires, and it ends up putting her grandparents' marriage in jeopardy.
