25 Years of the Csíki Chamber Orchestra

 The Csíki Chamber Orchestra is preparing for a special anniversary celebration. In 2001, exactly 25 years ago, the ensemble gave its first concert. Over the past quarter of a century, they have performed numerous concerts both as a string chamber orchestra and as a symphony orchestra, collaborating with countless renowned performers, conductors and soloists.

The concertmaster of the anniversary concert will be Barnabás Kelemen, with whom the orchestra has maintained a professional relationship for many years. The Liszt Ferenc and Kossuth Prize-winning violinist is one of the leading figures of Hungary’s classical music scene, performing extensively both in Hungary and internationally. He is the founder of the Kelemen Quartet and Artistic Director of the Budapest Festival Academy.
